Biopsy
I had surgery on Wednesday to remove a bit of the tumor growing on my neck and chest. Everything went well and although the pathology results aren't back yet, things so far point to a treatable form of cancer. So although this definitely has caused some serious course adjustments in my life, I'm still optimistic about the ultimate outcome.

Stay aggressive. Fight it every day, on all fronts. Never think it's gone. Keep alert. Yes, for the rest of your life. It sounds silly and stupid and trite, but visualize success. Visualize your body fighting back, attacking, removing, expelling, healing. Visualize your body staying on alert, patrolling, seeking any place the cancer may try to hide, get a new foothold, seek a new attack.
And, because I am who I am: Dear jesus, you have a big penis. Are you soft? I'm going to be like Scarlett O'Hara and get the vapors!!!
