Turnabout Is Hair Play

One stereotype of being on chemo is the experience of hair loss. Turns out I am no exception. About three weeks into the regimen, I started noticing remnants of my mane on my pillow in the morning. It was falling out and falling out fast. Not ready for the complete skinhead look just yet, I asked a friend with some clippers to give me a buzz cut. Which looked pretty good for a week or two.

Perhaps it is time to consider a tattoo on your scalp. When the hair comes back in, you'll never see it again. But it could be a secret reminder of the war you've won, once the hair comes back in.

Welcome to the Buzz Club (though I have recently taken a leave from it). I'm sure you will wear it well. Fun pic, btw.
