Weekend leather report

Sunday night was the main event for International Mr. Leather, in which a new holder of that title would be chosen, if not crowned. The opulent Chicago theatre hosted a flock of leather-clad attendees (mostly men), who came to listen to the contestants give speeches (most of them good, some even moving)and display a fair amount of skin (for the physique competition).

The entertainment was good, and included the "human slinky" and an enjoyable monologue by Hal Sparks, stand-up comic and former star of Queer As Folk.

I attended the event in tasteful leather pants and my new harness.

Despite rumors of a boring, overlong production, the three hours moved quite quickly and kept my attention most of the time. We were glad we went.
